Metal Club Mökä has been spreading the gospel of heavy metal in both the academic circles of Otaniemi and outside of it since 1998. Mökä’s 20th anniversary will be thus celebrated on the 3rd and 4th of August, when the renowned Mökäfest returns. Organized for the third time, this two-day metal festival is open for all and will be held in restaurant Täffä (at Otakaari 22).

The festival’s diverse range of genres will have something for everyone, and performances will be seen by bands that have not only been influential within Mökä but also in the whole metal culture. Mökäfest is a get-together for all academic metal clubs, so we warmly welcome the members of Hyrmy, TYRMY, Tyrmäys, TTYkitys, Pikametallimiehet, Jyrmy, Örmy and Susiraja Metal Club.
